(Newspring) President Donald Trump started his first cross -country trip in his second period Friday, where he visited disaster areas in North Carolina and California Before they go to Nevada on Saturday for an event.
The trip is coming as Trump is considering revising the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), hovering the idea that he would rather see States handle their “own problems”.
Friday’s focus is on two major disaster zones.
Trump’s first stop was North Carolina, a state he visited in the wake of Hurricane Helene while campaigning for the White House.
Trump will return as he renews his criticism of the Biden administration and accuses it and FEMA of abandoning North Carolina, who is still facing more than $ 50 billion in injury.
While talking to first responders, Trump repeated his claims that the area had been ignored even though FEMA have used Millions on disaster preparedness and emergency preparedness in the region since the storm hit.
