Travis Kelce shocks fans with surprise appearance at Chiefs’ Christmas party – when many thought he would go out with the birthday girl Taylor Swift.
On the night the pop superstar celebrated her 35th birthday, fans were amazed to see a clip of Kelce not with her partner, but instead at work.
In a video posted to Instagram by owner Clark Hunt’s daughter Gracie, the tight end can be seen on stage wearing a Santa hat while being celebrated for his charity work away from the NFL field.
Kelce was nominated last week for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, and on Friday night he showed off his work again at the local Kansas City public with their appearance at the holiday celebration.
Dressed in all black but with a festive red hat to complement his look, Kelce approaches the stage and steals the crowd’s applause as team owner Hunt sings his praises.
“He’s consistently used his platform for good, so I’m honored to recognize Travis Kelce,” says Hunt.

“Since Travis came to Kansas City 12 years ago, he has established himself as one of the greatest to ever wear a Chiefs jersey and one of the greatest tight ends to ever play the game.”
“But Travis was just as impressive off the field,” the owner added, noting his work with 87 & Running and Operation Breakthrough.
Kelce’s appearance at the Chiefs party set tongues wagging as to the whereabouts of his girlfriend Swift, who has been in town doing her own charity work for the past few days.
Many speculated that she may also have attended the Christmas party after visiting sick children at the local hospital earlier in the week.
Such is the privacy of the Chiefs’ event, it’s unclear if she attended or how long Kelce stayed after his appearance on the scene.
There were various reports of the tight end going all out for Swift’s 35th birthday after the singer joined him in KC following the end of her Eras Tour.

According to a report in the sun of the usa this week Kelce spent a staggering $175,000 on his girlfriend for her big day.
Detailing exactly what he wrapped for her, the report claims $155,000 of that was accounted for in lavish jewelry.
The gifts included a 36mm Day-Date Rolex in rose gold worth $60,350, a Tiffany & Co gold cuff worth $22,000 and an Elsa Peretti open heart bracelet that cost him $25,000.
No birthday would be complete without flowers, and Kelce is said to have spent a whopping $19,325 on a massive assortment that included 35 bouquets of roses to celebrate each of her years on planet Earth.
