Ryan Reynolds thrills punters as he buys ALL round in a surprise visit to a Wrexham pub with fellow Hollywood star Channing Tatum

Chairman of Wrexham Ryan Reynolds delighted punters by buying a round for everyone in a Friday night pub.

The Hollywood icon and half of the League One club’s famous ownership team has joined another silver screen star, Channing Tatumat the Fat Boar pub in Wrexham.

The Deadpool actor was seen addressing the jubilant crowds, footage from Wrexham.com shows. The 48-year-old joked that the pub “could have buses for a hundred more people” after revealing he would pay for a glass of drinks for everyone attending.

Reynolds was keen to stress that she couldn’t stay long as she tried to make the most of her ‘night off’ away from her four young children.

He was later seen in a photo released by the pub alongside Tatum, who also starred in the recent hit Deadpool and Wolverine.

The blockbuster film, which has grossed more than $1 billion since its release in July, also stars Wrexham striker Paul Mullin as Welshpool. Warning: Strong language.

“I’m buying a round for everybody here,” Reynolds said. “which may be attracting another hundred people as we speak, but that’s fine.

“And then I’ll go right now and have a good time and go to bed. I have four kids and it’s a free evening where I can go to bed when I want, which I’m very excited about.

“I’m really excited about tomorrow too – I hope you’ll all be watching and, you know, up in the city, right.”

Phil Parkinson’s side made light work of the third tier in their first season back in the division for 20 years. Wrexham are second on goal difference behind surprise leaders Wycombe.
