Ravichandran Ashwin chats on Ritika Sajdeh’s parody account
The incident happened while Ashwin who was very active on social media platform X after his retirement, received a comment on one of his posts which said, “Australia thought they could clean us up,” the account with the username @Nishitha018 commented. However, since the account used Ritika’s name and photo, Ashwin thought it was really Rohit’s wife and gave an immediate reply to the comment.
“Hi Ritika, how are you? Regards to the little one and the family,” Ashwin responded to the impersonator’s post. The user continued Ritika and enjoyed the traction it received online after the response from Ashwin. “I’m fine Ashwin anna,” did not reply back. However, at that time, Ashwin realized that this account was fake and deleted the entire conversation.

Ritika and Rohit welcomed a baby boy
In his reply to the impersonator, Ashwin explained to send his wishes to the youngest member of Rohit’s family. The couple welcomed a boy in November 2024, their second child after they were blessed with a girl, Samaira in 2018. Rohit opted out of the first match of Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Perth and did not travel with the Indian squad to Australia to be with his wife. The 37-year-old joined the Adelaide squad for the second Test match. Rohit confirmed the birth of his second child in a social media post with the caption, “The FAMILY, the four of us.” A date was also mentioned by the Indian captain 15.11.2024 to confirm the birth of their newborn.
