NFL star Jarvis Brownlee Jr. stuns Nashville waitress with selfless act after dinner with family

Tennessee Titans rookie Jarvis Brownlee Jr. spread Christmas spirit this week with an incredibly touching gesture.

The cornerback stunned a single mother of six at a Nashville restaurant last weekend when his incredible act of charity enabled her to pay her rent and afford warm clothes this winter.

Christy Johnson, a waitress at the Music City eatery, took to social media to highlight the NFL player’s good deed this week.

Johnson revealed that she asked Brownlee for a photo and autograph for her son, only to give her much more.

“Then he keeps asking for mine.” Cash app and sends me more than enough to pay the rest of my rent and get winter clothes for my kids,” she wrote in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“This is what real men are made of!! Caring for single moms!! My heart will forever be with Tn Titans!! God save this man!

“He doesn’t even know how much I needed this help…yes, I was crying in that picture.”

Brownlee spoke of the exciting meeting this week, revealing to reporters that he had pledged to help several people this month ahead of the festive period.

The 23-year-old attended dinner with his family at the restaurant after the Titans’ game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, where he met Johnson.

“That’s all I needed to hear,” he said. “My mom was a single parent raising three on her own, and for her to have six, I know it’s harder than what my mom went through.

“So for me, just having the chance to help her — man, that touched me. It touched my family. This touched my mother.

Brownlee also shared an uplifting message for Johnson, adding that he intends to treat her and her children to dinner.

“God bless you, Christy,” Brownlee said, via fox17. “I appreciate you letting me help you. It’s something I’ve always planned to do simply with this level of profession.

“This is my dream and one of my dreams has always been to give back, no matter where it comes from. No matter if it’s in my community or another community.

“Nashville is a part of me now. He’s home, he added. “I look forward to returning to other families and I hope you are ready for dinner. Thank you, God bless you and I look forward to seeing you soon.’

Brownlee was selected by the Titans in the fifth round of this year’s NFL Draft out of Louisville.

He has started every game since Week 4, recording 55 tackles and one interception in 13 games this season.

He is then expected to prepare for the Titans’ Week 15 game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
