Marco Rubio met with UAP whistleblower before Trump’s nomination

(NewsNation) — Whistleblower Jacob Barber tells NewsNation that he not only knows about secret Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs, more commonly known as UFOs) recovery programs in the government, but has worked for a.

For the past 30 years, Barber said he has worked in both an official and unofficial capacity for the U.S. government and its intelligence community partners.

“We’re in this rare opportunity in human history where it’s very clear that we know there are things flying in the sky that are unexplained and incomprehensible,” Barber told NewsNation investigative reporter Ross Coulthart exclusively.

During his time as a contracted helicopter pilot, he retrieved all manner of downed craft, some of which he believes are of non-human origin.

“Just visually looking at the object on the ground, you could tell it was extraordinary and abnormal,” Barber said. “It wasn’t human.”

Barber claims he is “unequivocally providing information about” UAPs and wants the public to know what he knows.

Witnesses know congressional UAP hearings have said the same thing.

“The Pentagon, the intelligence community is treating us like children. It’s time we know the truth about this. I think we can handle it,” journalist Michael Shellenberger said during his testimony.

Barber has also been to Capitol Hill. NewsNation confirmed that in the fall he met with employees for Late. Marco RubioR-Fla., who is now President-elect Donald Trump’s choice for Secretary of State.

“I feel like I was able to fill in gaps that have been there for a long time that no other whistleblower has been able to do,” Barber said.

Rubio is expected to see a smooth Senate confirmation.

NewsNation checked Barber’s records and confirmed he was a U.S. Air Force aviator who worked as an aerospace mechanic in the late 1990s. He was also recruited into Air Force Special Operations, known as “combat control.” He would eventually go on to work in an unofficial capacity for the Department of Defense and the intelligence community.

In addition to reviewing his official documentation, NewsNation spoke with three former special operations soldiers who confirmed Barber’s credentials.
