Luke Littler has advocated for ex Manchester United star to return to the club in a now-deleted Instagram post after a one-man error against Viktoria Pilsen.
United left him late in their Europa League clash on Thursday night, but a Rasmus Hoylund double save point for Reuben Amorimcountry like they earned their first away European win since March last year.
It was tough in the first half of what was a scrappy game and they fell behind by a goal from the first Burnley and Darby’s man Matthew the Otter.
But Hoylund scored after good work from Amad Diallo to smooth things over and then poked a pass from Bruno Fernandez to leave United well set to reach the next round.
It did not come easily, however questions were again raised about goalkeeper Andre Onana when his pass was intercepted for the opening just days after he was guilty of Morgan Gibbs-Whiteefforts against Nottingham Forest.
And Littler, who is preparing to play in the World Darts Championship, had seen enough when he took to social media to call out David De Gea to return to the club.

De Gea plays for Fiorentina in Italy after spending a year as a free agent after United
“Bring back Dave,” Littler, a keen United fan, posted – as he sat in front of his TV to watch the game – accompanied by a glove emoji.
However, he quickly deleted the post, replacing it with a video of Høylund celebrating the winner and the caption: “Woooow.”
De Gea left United last year, spending 12 seasons in Manchester before leaving at the end of his contract.
He was frozen out by the former manager Eric ten Haag although he did win a Gold Glove in his final season.
The Spaniard was replaced by Onana and spent a year out of the game as a free agent before joining Fiorentina in the summer.
While he is enjoying life in Italy, questions remain over his replacement, who gifted the ball to Pavel Sulz to feed the Otters for Thursday’s first leg.
He was trying to pass to Matthijs De Ligt who was hot on his heels and the striker got there first.
Owen Hargreaves said on TNT Sports after the game with the goal: “It’s both of them’s fault. He (De Ligt) doesn’t want it, goes back, Onana gives the ball and it’s not in his goal. But Amorim wants De Ligt there – that’s tough for CB.

Andre Onana was his replacement but made another mistake leading to Thursday’s goal

Meanwhile, United captain Bruno Fernandes said of his goalkeeper: “We want to play from the back and everyone knows we have to make the right decisions.
“It’s not about Andre making the mistake, we don’t look at individuals. It is for all players involved. We have full confidence in Andre – he’s a smart guy so we don’t have to tell him and he’ll help us from the back.
“It’s something we’ve been doing for a long time. Goalkeepers are good with the ball and can make the triangle, it has worked many times, but not today.
“We trust him to continue to do what he thinks is best.”
