BCCI unveils four host cities and start date for Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025



In a significant step to promote women’s cricket across the country, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that the 2025 season of Women’s Premier League (WPL) will be held in four venues. Addressing a press conference after a Special General Meeting in Mumbai, BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla confirmed the cities and the start date for the expected season.

Four venues will host WPL 2025 matches

The grand finale of WPL 2025 will be held at the newly constructed Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. Located just 20 kilometers from the city centre, the stadium recently made its international debut during the India Women’s ODI series against West Indies. Known for its state-of-the-art facilities, Kotambi Stadium currently hosts the knockout stages of Vijay Hazare Trophyfurther proving its ability to host high-profile matches.
