The rats learn to drive miniature cars and seem to enjoy it

In a University of Richmond study, behavioral neuroscientist Kelly Lambert demonstrates how rats can learn to drive miniature cars by using a lever to navigate toward a reward. According to Lambert, this training not only increases cognitive function, but also promotes positive emotions such as optimism, leading the researchers to believe that the experience of driving is inherently pleasurable for the rats.
