(NewsNation) — President Donald Trump has officially joined for the second time in eight years.

This is not his first trip to the White House. He was consecrated for its first term on 20 January 2017.

2025: Melania wore a tailored navy silk wool coata navy silk wool pencil skirt and an ivory silk crepe blouse, all designed by Adam Lippes.

2025: Trump was joined by his children and wife as well as his niece, nephews and other family members on Monday.

Inauguration crowds

2025: Due to the ceremony being held inside the Capitol Rotunda, crowds gathered elsewhere to watch the inauguration.

2025: Former presidents Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary were among the dignitaries. Michelle Obama did not attend. In particular, tech CEOs such as Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos were present.
