Trump will sign orders live at Capital One Arena

(NewsNation) — Not one to shy away from the limelight, President Donald Trump is set to sign a a number of announcements in front of a live crowd at Capital One Arena on Monday.

Trump said he plans to sign almost 100 announcements on his first day. It will happen at a desk set up on the stage at Capital One Arena, NewsNations Libbey Dean reported.

The orders are expected to include the temporary suspension ofban on TikTokmeasures to tighten border security and an end to so-called DEI mandates in the federal government.

Specifically on immigration, Trump is expected to declare an emergency on the southern border and reinstate his “Stay in Mexico“politics, among other actions.

“The border security measures I will outline in my inaugural address tomorrow will be the most aggressive, sweeping effort to restore our borders that the world has ever seen.”Trump told the attendeesof a private dinner on Sunday.

Thousands have packed into Capital One Arena to celebrate Trump’s inauguration. He is set to arrive after his swearing-in ceremony, which was moved into the US Capitol Rotunda due to cold weather in Washington, DC

“Our top priority will be to create a nation that is proud, prosperous and free,” Trump said during his swearing-in ceremony on Monday.
