Uthappa lamented this situation, adding, “You feel terrible. Everyone has preferences, I agree but you can’t close the door on a player after taking him to the top. He has World Cup clothes, World Cup kit bag, everything is in his house. A player thinks he is going to the World Cup. But you closed the door on him.”
